Sierra Rutile to Install DPS
Mining company Sierra Rutile of Sierra Leonne has recently decided to purchase the Dredge Positioning System from Circle Electronics. This is a full installation including monitoring transducers, software, GPS System and servers. The software monitors, stores and displays production parameters on a spatial grid as well as storing positional and production data required in a GE Fanuc Historian. Dredge Positioning is displayed in real time on a mining grid to aid dredge operators to position the dredge as well as remote viewers to have an exact view of dredge movement, production and other operations. Furthermore, Historical and Aggregate data can be retrieved from interfaces in the software for reporting and mine planning purposes.
